Brad, I have a Takamine Jumbo EG523SC, S/N 4432674, bought in the early 2000's, from Gtr Center in Scottsdale AZ. 2 Sundays ago, and also yesterday, the volume's been cutting in and out during live worship services, and I know it's not the 9v battery, as it's brand new, and still does it, even after changing batteries, as I also have a battery tester. I also don't think it's one of the church Gtr cables because yesterday, I brought my Taylor 810ce with me, and had no problem with it using the same cable. SO, with process of elimination, I think it's the TK40. Is there a Distributor that sells replacement TK40's for this model? The Takamine website produced ZERO help. I might take it to my very competent and capable Luthier this week. Only good news is that I own other AG's that I can use, even besides my Taylor, when I need to play AG. Not an immediate issue, since I'm set to play EG the next few Sundays.
